122 Words About Me
I’m an entrepreneur, writer, generalist, and digital explorer.
I started a small non-sexy business at age 17 and quickly became a workaholic. Looking back, I sacrificed almost every aspect of my life for success.
During that time, I developed a varied skill set including web design, social media content creation, marketing, and pretending to be deeply interested in small talk while thinking about my next piece of writing.
These days I am more intentional. I prefer a streamlined life filled with simple pleasures, interesting projects, exploration, and leisure.
I’m also intentional in how I consume. I’m careful about how I use my resources [time, money, and energy] and, I don’t own many things.
I am a 40-something introvert, minimalist, and internet regular.
About This Project
This site serves as an online home and a collection of my work. Most of my articles explore ideas related to better living and the human experience.
I write about life design, personal systems, technology, and culture. I also sprinkle in contemplations, personal stories, and insights on being a writer, entrepreneur, and minimalist. There are no real constraints and at the core of my work is a vague attempt to make sense of the world.
Around the Web
Twitter is the pub of the internet and where you will find me spending my time. Be sure to follow along for daily insights and micro-thoughts @ bhfralick.
I also write about various topics on Medium. I think you’ll find the writing has a slightly different flavor compared to what is published here. Other than that, I don’t frequent social media often however, you can find me on Linkedin if you would like to connect.
Sunday Notes
Each week I send out a popular newsletter called Sunday Notes where I share ideas, links, and other finds from my week of digital exploration. I try to make it one of the best emails my readers get each week. Sign up for Sunday Notes below — you can unsubscribe at any time.
You Should Contact Me
I am on a mission to build a network of friends from around the world which is why you should send me an email. Shoot me a note at [email protected] if you would like to chat.
I’ll do my best to answer any questions you may have on any and all topics. Or, if you would simply like to say hello, please do. I have met some amazing people this way and I reply to all.
